Python Lead Developer

Seeking an experienced Tech Lead to design and maintain serverless applications using Python and AWS. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance systems with AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS. You’ll lead technical teams, architect solutions, and drive the success of fintech products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect & Develop: Design secure, scalable back-end services using Python and AWS serverless technologies.
• Serverless Development: Build and maintain applications with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.
• Leadership: Guide and mentor engineers, ensuring best practices in development and DevOps.
• Collaboration: Work with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver quality solutions.
• Automation & CI/CD: Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring for rapid deployment.
• Performance Optimization: Enhance service performance and cost-efficiency using AWS resources.
• Security: Ensure solutions adhere to security best practices, including encryption and access control.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documents, including architecture diagrams and deployment guides.
• Problem Solving: Resolve complex technical issues with minimal downtime.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with trends in Python, AWS, and fintech to enhance systems.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 10+ years in back-end development; 6+ years in Python.
  • Strong experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.).
  • Proven track record leading technical teams in fintech or banking.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python (Flask, Django) and AWS serverless architecture.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS monitoring tools.
• Leadership: Strong team leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to resolve complex issues in fast-paced environments.
• Communication: Excellent skills in conveying technical concepts to various stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of financial services regulations.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer).
